The work done
by Flaherty Iron Works can be seen in a variety of sites
around metropolitan Washington, DC. These include the
Matisse Restaurant, the Museum of American History,
Thomas Jefferson’s home at Monticello, and the
Birchmere Club to name just a few. His clients also
include the North Carolina Zoological Park, the Washington
Metropolitan Transit Authority, Gonzaga High School,
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and St. Thomas More
Cathedral among many others. Flaherty Iron Works has
been chosen several times to work on restoration projects
involving metal restoration. Three of their restoration
projects have received Top Job awards from the National
Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metals Association. Francis
